There followed a time when the brothers pursued separate careers; Tim touring and recording and Neil going on to form Crowded House, writing his heart out and storming the world charts. The two Finns came together again in the early nineties and, after a writing spree that smacked of "we", produced the album Woodface - a collection of songs that captures the swagger and skank of six weeks in Polynesia. Another album - Finn, The Album inevitably followed shortly afterwards. The two brothers have continued to perform together and joined forces to write "Mary of the South Seas" for Common Ground, dedicated to their mother's journey from her native Ireland.
