Liam Ó Maonlaí

Liam Ó Maonlaí's first memory of learning anything is of singing 'An Buachaill Ón Éirne' in front of his father in their kitchen in Clonskeagh, County Dublin. Most of the songs Liam has sung since have been written by him or with his band, the Hothouse Flowers.

He spent ten years exploring life as part of a contemporary electric Irish group - a life that consisted of touring for most of the year.
